Animation Examples (Cycles)

(Before people invented spaying, estral dogs were apocryphically given baths in kerosene or gasoline as, shall we say, repellent. Not exactly the safest thing in the world, or the most fireproof. Rather gothic, in fact. Please spay or neuter your pets.)

(Text, in Shavian, reads "Play that funky music, white boy," the lyrics of a song)

(This and the above skull were animated by painting watercolor onto carved rubber eraser stamps and tacking the Warholesque result to paper and digitally registering them. A good way of making the art swim.)

Animation.

I make animation on the small, gif-y side for clients and for practice, using a variety of media, from Toon Boom to After Effects to photoshop, drawn with digital, pencil or ink. Here are some small samples.

Currently in the works on my fourth solo film, the first three of which are unabashedly student work and I'm not keen on dredging up. Something to come of age into by showing off.
